| It is important to realize that any trainer needs two separate sets of skills and knowledge. First, they need to know the topic they are teaching and second, they need to know how to transfer that information to the student. You have probably noticed that there are a lot of training materials and training methods that do not seem to be a good fit for your training needs.
Beginning with the fundamentals of human communication, students will gain an understanding of how the adult brain learns, adapts, and changes. You will explore different personality types and preferred learning methods, as well as the differences between education, training, and mentoring. With the goal of becoming a better communicator, you will complete several self-assessments to understand your own preferences and develop perspective on the preferences of others.
