The College of Southern Idaho, in partnership withe the Lee Pesky Learning Center, is a state-approved Idaho Comprehensive Literacy Course provider.
The content of this course meets the requirements for ICLC and has been updated to include Standards #1, #2, #3 and #4 covering the following areas of literacy instruction:
- phonological awareness
- phonics
- fluency
- comprehension
- vocabulary
- writing instruction & assessment.
This online course is completely self-paced. This course is offered completely online for your convenience throughout the year by the Lee Pesky Learning Center.

Cost for ICLC Course: $385
Cost for 4 CSI Professional Development Credits: $160
Walk Away With:
Upon successful completion of the ICLC course, you will receive 4 professional development credits that will appear on your CSI transcript. Credits will appear on the transcript at the end of the semester in which you submitted the work.
Students can request an official transcript or submit an unofficial transcript by following the instructions on the FAQ page.
Professional development credits CANNOT be used to satisfy degree requirements and are not eligible for financial aid. No refunds will be awarded.
** CSI Policy waives credit fees for students over 60 and Full-time regular CSI employees, their spouses and children. The student is responsible for paying any course fees.
