ClassGraphic Embark on a creative journey into the art of glass manipulation with this Introductory Glassblowing course. Topics covered will include studio safety, materials and tools, types of flames and basic handling of molten glass.

In this course students will benefit from personalized instruction in a supportive environment, gaining hands-on experience with fundamental techniques. Instructor Robert Koch is a professional glassblower with over 20 years of experience, and will guide individuals through each step, developing skills and building confidence.

Ideal for hobbyists and aspiring artists alike, this course offers a fantastic opportunity to dive into the world of glass art. Join us to transform molten glass into stunning works of art and discover the joys of this fascinating craft!

NOTE: This course occurs at a glassblowing studio offsite from the main CSI Campus.

Any minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a guardian. 

All materials are included in the registration fee and students will be allowed to keep the pieces they create. A secondary class will be offered for students that have completed Introductory Glassblowing and want to continue on their journey, creating larger and more intricate pieces.
