In
Basic LEGO SPIKE Robotics,
students learn real-world skills in science, engineering, and technology in a fun, immersive environment. During the camp, they build a LEGO SPIKE Prime robot. Then they program it with Pybricks, using either block-based or written Micro Python code to control motors and sensors. Campers design and refine custom robot attachments so their robot can complete the specific missions they are given on the robot game field. They apply a full cycle of testing and improving their solutions as they go. The camp wraps up with an exciting end-of-camp competition* where students showcase their robots and see how well their code and attachments perform.?
Basic LEGO SPIKE Robotics camp is open to all boys and girls interested in building their knowledge in applied science and math, while learning real-world problem-solving skills and gracious professionalism from the Magic Valley's own award-winning
5026 Tesla Coils FTC Robotics Team.
*Camp will end with a mini competition Friday afternoon beginning at 2:00 PM. Family and friends are welcome to come & watch!
