CourseGraphic We will be working with copper and or brass to create pendants that have” to hold a stone. Students will work with tools such as saw, shear, files, stamps, and mallet.  The torch will be used to anneal the metal, making it easier to form. Safety will be the biggest concern, and all skills will be taught. A beautiful and creative way to set off a stone. Sometimes even turning it into a creature!

(Students may bring their own stone. However, it shouldn’t be larger than 1” x 2”, and must have a flat backside, to be most successful) Wear closed toe shoes, comfortable clothing without anything being loose or flowing, like wide
