Description
Certified flaggers are needed every day to make our lives safer in many industries including construction, road paving, utility, landscapers, emergency response teams, and many more. A flagger must establish authority and confidence so traffic can and will respond in time, and consistently with, the need to stop, change lanes, proceed more slowly or maneuver as necessary around or through the work zone safely.

This course will provide participants with safe flagging techniques specific to Idaho regulations. Students will be provided with the information and procedures necessary to enhance the safety of both workers and drivers while in typical street and highway construction and repair projects.

Walk Away With:
Training that will include a hands-on demonstration of proper flagging and signal techniques.
Training book, with extensive notes, to use during the course and on the job site.
Flagger certification card valid for three (3) years in Idaho, Washington, Oregon, and Montana.
Certification of Completion provided by CSI Workforce Development and Training.

Who Should Attend?
This course is recommended for anyone with safety and health responsibilities in highway and street construction, bridge, tunnel, water or sewer construction; concrete utilities, or paving industries; state transportation, and county or municipal street/public work departments.
