Leading a Culture of Safety:  An effective safety and health management system (SHMS) is more than a binder with specific worksite rules and worker training.  OSHA’s Safe + Sound campaign simplifies the elements of an effective SHMS into three critical elements; management commitment, worker involvement, and a system to identify and correct hazards.  This presentation will describe why these elements are so important, and provides useful guidance and tools to improve your SHMS, whether you are just starting out or have a well-established program.
