Description
Do you want to teach your own employees how to enter and work safely in permit and non-permit confined spaces? OSHA states that only “Qualified Persons” can give training to others. This class is for everyone that wants to train their employees to safely work in and recognize hazards in confined space operations. This comprehensive class provides hands-on instruction in air sampling techniques, hazard assessment of confined spaces, and basic retrieval/rescue (non-entry) techniques.
Students will learn how to create an entry permit and how to correctly evaluate and determine if permit entry procedures are necessary. All instructor course materials are provided to each prospective trainer. This course meets NEW Fed OSHA Regulations 1926.1200 requirements for certification of employees who enter or may work in a confined space.
Exit exam passing grade required for all student candidates.
