DIY Woodworking Projects: End Grain Cutting Boards

Saturday 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM (One hour lunch break from 12-1)


In this class, students will learn safety in the shop, basic woodworking skills, and joinery. Students will start with various hardwoods and transform the rough stock lumber into a end grain cutting board using a variety of different machining techniques. The safe use of hand tools and power tools will be taught as well as a simple finishing method. If you have ever been interested in woodworking and are looking for a place to start, this is it!
