This course is for Emergency Medical Technicians with a current NREMT certification currently employed or interested in the fire industry. Students will walk away with training as a Firefighter 1 and 2 as outlined in the NFPA 1001 Professional Qualifications Standard.
As a part of the firefighter series, students will complete firefighter level 1, firefighter level 2, as well as hazardous materials awareness/operation over a 16-week period.
