Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED equips participants with the knowledge and practical skills needed to recognize and respond to a variety of illnesses and injuries affecting infants and children. Topics include bleeding control, burn care, allergic reactions, breathing emergencies, and other common pediatric health concerns.
The course also addresses critical emergency situations such as shock, seizures, head and neck injuries, and water-related emergencies, including drowning prevention and response.
In addition, participants learn how to perform CPR, use an automated external defibrillator (AED), and provide choking relief for infants and children. Adult CPR and emergency care content may be added as an optional component.
